Diploma of Networking


This qualification delivers the skills and knowledge for the candidate to manage business requirements using IT networking tools and techniques, as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team. After completion of this course, the candidate will be able to install a range of networks, including internetworking, security and e-business integration.

  • Has successfully passed the Myanmar Matriculation Examination (11 Years of Education) or has gained the High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Has an IELTS overall score of 5 and has achieved 5.0 or above to progress on to the next qualification (IELTS exam cost is to be bored by the student).
  • Successfully qualified ACCIT Foundation Course and Diploma of Networking.
  • Has successfully passed the Myanmar Matriculation Examination (11 Years of Education) or has gained the High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

There are 16 units of competency that must be completed as part of this qualification. 

  1. Contribute to copyright, ethics and privacy in an ICT environment 
  2. Gather data to identify business requirements  
  3. Match IT needs with the strategic direction of the enterprise  
  4. Install, configure and test a server  
  5. Design and implement an integrated server solution  
  6. Install, configure and test a local area network switch 
  7. Install, operate and troubleshoot medium enterprise routers  
  8. Produce an ICT network architecture design  
  9. Review and update disaster recovery and contingency plans  
  10. Research and review hardware technology options for organizations  
  11. Use network tools 
  12. Manage network security  
  13. Install and maintain valid authentication processes  
  14. Install and manage complex ICT networks  
  15. Implement server virtualisation for a sustainable ICT system  
  16. Identify and resolve network problems
