Certificate III in Information Digital Media and Technology


After completing this course, the candidate will be efficient in dealing with the data churning, handling and processing for the information and communication industry. The candidate will become expert in handling work processes that involve core technical functions, building websites, network administration, IT applications, business skills, cloud applications, and PC maintenance and networking. After completion of this course, a learner becomes efficient in supporting the work process of ICT (information and communication technology).

  • Applicants are expected to have language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills to at least Year 11 level. 
  • Successfully qualified ACCIT Foundation Course and Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology. 
  • Have IELTS overall score of 5 or above and not less than 5 in each band (IELTS exam cost is to be bored by the student).

Class room based 

There are 17 units of competency that must be completed as part of this qualification 

  1. Participate effectively in WHS communication and consultation processes  
  2. Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices 
  3. Work and communicate effectively in an ICT environment  
  4. Create user documentation  
  5. Install and optimise operating system software  
  6. Run standard diagnostic tests  
  7. Review and maintain a website 
  8. Use social media tools for collaboration and engagement  
  9. Create a simple mark-up language document  
  10. Build simple websites using commercial programs  
  11. Produce digital images for the web  
  12. Provide network systems administration 
  13. Determine and action network problems  
  14. Administer network peripherals  
  15. Install and manage network protocols  
  16. Install, configure and secure a small office or home office network  
  17. Evaluate characteristics of cloud computing solutions and services
